How can you learn accordion by yourself?

Im dispiriting to find out how to play accordion by myself. What website can I go to get the notes for the accordions like the tones and all that. And "adornos".

I don't entertain the idea it's the kind of thing you can learn online, no matter how many sites there are. But also, it's hard to find a good teacher. So, look for a counsellor you connect with. Karina (below) is a good start.

How do I learn to play an accordion?

I'm a big fan of regional mexican music and well being hispanic is one of the reasons why. Anyways, I have always wanted to learn to stage play the accordion and have been saving money to buy one and learn how to play it. I'm 21 and I should of started when I was younger, but I still have the desire to learn to play the accordion. Does anyone recognize where I can learn to play it? What kind of accordion is the best for a beginner?

Don't agonize that your to old to learn an instrument! All you need is the desire to learn it!

The accordion used most for mexican music is a three row button box. Usually tuned GCF.

As far as what to buy, legitimate stay away from the really low price China imports, they are more trouble than they are worth and are hard to learn on. You'd be well-advised b wealthier off buying a good brand older model used for a lot less than a new one.

I don't know where you live, so I can't suggest any teachers, but if you'd like to learn on your own, this establishment makes some good videos.

The Houston native hopes to turn tradition into a employment in music and one day play his own zydeco-infused melodies in great concert venues. Moreno, 20, takes the point Saturday at Miller Outdoor Theatre in Houston with aspiring accordion players from Humble, Dallas and San Antonio for the finals of the contention, part of Texas Folklife's annual Accordion Kings and Queens Festival.

The winner takes home $1,000, a new accordion, a recording period at SugarHill Recording Studios in Houston and career support.

For Keyun Dickson of Humble, winning the contention would give him bragging rights as a new “accordion king.”

“They don't have to give me anything,” he joked. “I just want the name.”
