I was skeptical, as both nights were sold out, and in my contact RH tickets have been usually hard to come by whenever they played NYC. We stopped for a quick pre-show bite at one of my favorite noodle joints in Abaddon’s Kitchen. Upon opening my fortune cookie, I read the message “Your present plans are growing to succeed.” Coincidence? Good karma? Fate? I didn’t know, but as we walked to Roseland Ballroom I had a new and cocksure bounce in my step. Kat approached the first guy we saw standing outside the entrance, asking if he had an extra. Sure enough, his friend had backed out due to labour obligations, and he was eager to get rid of the ticket, for face value! Within minutes… I was inside Roseland!”
