Anyone know where I can get pictures of Hohner accordions from the 1930's?

I've got this old accordion and would like to grasp what model it is and when it was made exactly. It's 140 bass so a little unusual. Any info. much appreciated.

Here's a interdependence couple to an eBay auction for a 1937 Hohner catalog on CD. This means that vintage Hohner catalogs exist. You just have to hunt them down.

Hohner Club Ib Accordion?

I recently picked up a old Hohner Club IB Accordion. When I looked in the case, there was sheet music, and from what I can tell, the music dates back to Germany between 1912 and the 1930's.

Does anyone identify anything about these instruments, and more importantly, does anyone know where to find information about playing them? I found a finger chart, and that's as far as I got. It has 8 bass buttons, and 30 treble buttons. I remember it's in the key of C/F.

What you have is called a diatonic accordion. The sisterhood models had the third row of "helper" notes to allow playing in other keys.

Assuming you have a C/F instrument-
The facing row is called the "home row" and is in the key of C
The middle row is called the "companion row"
The inside row is the "helper row" and plays notes that are not in the C or F scale

If you have a do anything chart of the notes (and can read music) you have all you need to begin playing. Looking at the chart, the fourth button from the top on "egg on" will be the root note of each row (C & F). From there a scale can be played moving down the row in the sequence - push(c) - pull(d) - (next button)enthusiasm(e) - pull(f) - (next button)push(g) - pull(a) - (next button)PULL(b) - spirit(c).

Searching for "diatonic accordion lessons" on youtube should yield some results.
