Is learning the banjo easy or hard as far as instruments go?

I am not a very melodic person. In fact, I would say I am below average in the musical area.

It's not undeniably easy. I'm not a banjo player myself, but I know you wear 2 or 3 picks on your right hand fingers and of course fret with your sinistral hand. Most people who play guitar only strum or pick with the pick in their right hand, which they're holding between their fingers.
I'm certain if you were to get some lessons though you would be taught something easy to learn to start with.
If you're looking for something relatively easy to learn that you can teach yourself, I would introduce you try the harmonica. It doesn't cost too much to buy one either.

Can you use big words just to cover up the fact that you're a sock wearing banjo playing redneck?

Not actually. The denim dungarees are a dead giveaway.

Provisions working to address budget issues

The Board of Education, administration and staff of District 51 have been working to overpower the challenges posed by decreasing revenues and shrinking resources. This commitment was demonstrated this year through a long and collaborative feat which yielded a balanced budget focused on our mission for educating students in our community. Our objective will always be to allocate resources in a way that allows us to provender the best education possible for our students.

Much of what you stated about our economic challenges in your recent editorial is true. However, your innuendo to delaying the adoption of the math and reading curriculum is incorrect. In fact, in anticipation of the possible state reductions, the Timber of Education took the necessary steps last year to the purchase materials and begin implementation earlier than was from the start planned. The reduction you referred to will not deprive students of the materials needed for the currently adopted curriculum in any gratification area. The district will continue planning for future curriculum updates that will align with the newly approved structure content standards. As these plans are completed in future budget cycles, the Board will strive to take the steps of the utmost importance to support their implementation.
