I already have a guitar, bass guitar, microphone, keyboard, accordion, ukulele, mandolin, and a violin... I craving a drum set to finish it off. Of course, I've never played drums, so how much would be a reasonable price for a drum set, me being a beginner?
Thanks for any arrogate!
Oh, and, if you can, direct me to a place where I can learn to play drums!
look on Craigslist or in your particular paper for a good, used kit. You can probably find something for under $500. There are plenty of kids whose parents bought them beautiful, new sets and then they clear they didn't like it anymore- so the barely used stuff gets sold cheap!
As far as drum lessons, conform your local music stare- they usually offer lessons. If you live in an area where music is big business (like, I material in Nashville and there is no shortage of music teachers who are actually studio musicians or play in someone or others band!!!) verification the local paper under the music section to see if anyone is offering private lessons. Good Luck!
“Since yesterday I’ve been point of view that I get to be the first person to say on a big microphone: welcome to the New Meadowlands Stadium, home of the 2014 Super Bowl,” Bon Jovi told his rhapsodic audience.
That Bon Jovi’s concert, a highly-polished rockathon perfectly suited for breaking in a new ground, was only the second best thing to happen to the New Meadowlands Stadium this week is kind of a surprise considering the Wonderful Bowl announcement came one day before the stadium actually opened. It’s not often that a stadium itself actually steals the show from its act, singularly one as bombastic as Bon Jovi.
But still, Bon Jovi seemed not only willing, but happy to take a backseat to the essence of his own event. The night was more about the stadium (and the land) than the band itself, and all Bon Jovi wanted was to show the audience a good time to go with their fancy new lodgings. If his show lacked the freewheeling spontaneity of Bruce Springsteen, who closed out the old Giants Hippodrome last fall with a Viking-funeral like run of concerts, it made up for it in sheer, I-love-rock-n’-roll pastime.
